Some people choose to fly through life, but Julen Hooks literally does. Her work as a pilot in Barrow, takes her to sometimes forget there is a whole other world out there. Flying home for her sister's wedding, her airplane crashes and she wakes up in the care of Native Alaskan's in a forsaken area of Bush Alaska. While her body heals from the accident, Julen comes to learn more about the native people of Alaska and how valuable and exciting life is.
