We have hid for centuries, living among the human people. That is until one very important rule was broken.

We have wings, strong, powerful bat - like wings. If any was to see them they had to be killed to protect our people. One got away and with pictures in hand to.

Scientists searched for us until one of us was spotted flying and was shot down. Now with proof of our existence we have been hunted down.

We have more numbers than they think and our time for hiding is over. It's time for war.All Rights Reserved

Okay, here we go: ------------- Before I tell you my story, I have something to tell you. My twin sister, Fern, and I, we are special. We would be put on public display where millions would flock around to get a mere glimpse of us and what makes us special. Scientists and genetic experts on many grounds would put us in cages. They would come and force us to be part of painful, tiring experiments. This already happened once, we don't want it to happen again. If you promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you. Fern and I have the ability to communicate with each other and other telepathic people without moving our mouths over long distances. And... We have fire and ice powers.

In the modern world, humans are the ones in control and live all over the planet. Living on all continents along with various animals ranging from various animals both on land air and water. With the planet consisting of humans, their imaginations range far and wide creating various things for them to enjoy. Of course, some of the imagination can lead to rather odd fantasies, which can gather a lot of folks. The technology has progressed rather far along with the lifestyle of humans.....until a disaster struck. A famous technology company had the intent of creating a teleportation device allowing them to travel to the other side of the plant in a matter of seconds. The initial test seemed to be going rather well with multiple people easily going through it but an unseen electric surge changed everything. The portal started to go out of control causing one of them to exploded while the other one started to suck in everything around it. As one of the individuals was sucked through the portal, his body was reverted to that of a newborn child with all of his memories intact. After exiting the portal and landing safely in a thick forest, he saw that he was in the dead of night. Scared and confusion filled him as he had no idea where he was but what came the next morning utterly shocked him. After falling asleep upon arriving, he woke up and found himself in an odd house that he didn't recognize. As he tried to figure out where he is, the door opened as who entered was a woman with long dark hair......and a set or rather long bunny ears. Not only this, there were two other small infants sleeping next to him with one of them clinging to him. What is this world? Who are these people and what are they? Are there any other humans out there besides him? The answer lies with the passage of time.

I have studied business, economics, commodity trading, carpentry, and other functions within our society, all which have led me to write this story, the story of a burning son. So what is The Burning Son all about? It's a quest to change the way we perceive our global society, and an effort to change the way we look at our history and our future. Our society has operated efficiently and progressively for centuries. It's about the stories that exist, it's about the technologies that exist, it's about our world, our planet, our force, and our time.
