Both Joe and Taylor have had their fair share of darkness, but within each other, they found daylight. And that is something that they are prepared to fight for, no matter what the cost.
Even though their lives are in the spotlight, the two of them have managed to find peace. They've managed to keep their lives relatively quiet since Adam was found guilty. But just because he's gone, doesn't mean he doesn't still haunt Taylor's mind every night. It doesn't mean that she won't wake up screaming from nightmares that he's still with her, that she's still trapped.
But she knows, that as long as she's got her family beside her, she'll be okay. She'll always have things that keep her holding onto that daylight, even when she slips. Joe will always be there to keep her steady, no matter what, no matter how dark it gets.
