We live in a bleak future, with no hope of survival. The technologies of the past have been destroyed. Nations have fallen, cities crumbled. Governments and armies disbanded. A new world has been created. One without hope. One without a single mercy to be given. To live, to survive...one must take. Take and take more. Whatever is left, whatever is not already yours.

For a young boy named Damien, this has proven to be the only viable way of living. After his sister's death at the hands of a travelling group of marauders and thieves, Damien's only reason for continuing is to kill the blue eyed darkness who stole his sister's pendant. That may have been how his journey started, but no one other than the Devil knows how it shall end.

Well this is my first story, I've had this story in my head for many many years and never really got to put it out there. Hopefully it's well received and such but even if it's not, I'm definitely open to constructive criticism. I've always wanted to make this story as mature and beautiful as I could. By the way, the mature tag is simply because there are adult themes discussed in the story and adult language, not necessarily sexual scenes. Oh and also, the story will have relatively short chapters, just because I enjoy writing every day but if I were to try to stretch a chapter out too long, I'd smash my head against a wall. Repeatedly.
