The relationship of two young adults had been tested when Dave Jensen received his mission call in Russia, Rostov mission. Julie Hanson, the missionary's girlfriend take this very hard as they will be away from each other for two years. But she promised Dave she will wait for him because he was all he wanted and Dave felt the same. 

Few months after Dave entered his mission, both still strongly holding their relationship, as they continue to write letters in each other, and feeling missed as day goes by. Until Julie's faith was tested, when she met an RM (Returned Missionary) from her school who actually used to be her high school crush. 

Letter and emails from Julie were not that often anymore, Dave started to have concern about this but remain dedicated to his mission. Their relationship starts to loosen even more.

Dave was finally ready to give in when he thought he will be one of the missionaries who's relationship didn't survive, until he received a letter from Julie, he hesitates to open it as he thinks it is a Dear John letter, He keep it instead and focused as an AP (Assistant to the Mission President). He was ready to face the life after mission as few days remaining before he goes home, he finally decides to read Julie's letter.

To which he was surprised.
