As heart aching news breaks out that Jane, a 37 year old working class wife to Steve, has a large tumour implanted on the left side of her well-knowledge brain, she discovers that the world is a very much larger place to live in and how little time spends waiting for her to do things.
With no children and chemotherapy wrapped around her finger, Jane looses out on precious time spent doing the things she loves to do. Whether that be spending time with four of her life time friends who have been there since her childhood, or living her dream job as a science teacher in a middle school. Will she be strong enough to fight through the ups and downs of the terrible disease called Cancer?

My Dear Reader Rebecca
What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words. When she turned 11, the Mavery's adopted her, for the past 6 years of her life she's been stuck living in their attic. They don't treat her like part of the family. Her stuck up step-mother Ana only ever points out her flaws, and Neal her step-father doesn't stop her. You'd think that would be enough to drive anyone over the edge, but now add the little 'brats' that torment her constantly. Cortlyn and Oscar. Cortlyn has always been jealous of Jane and her friendship with Adam, the boy next door. Oscar actually likes having another sister, but he always sides with his twin, he'd never admit to it. And Adam? He loves Jane, like loves, loves Jane, but of course she's completely clueless, after all it is her best friend...her only friend. But the real trouble starts when Jane finally stands up for her self, what's this crazy family going to do to her next?
