As heart aching news breaks out that Jane, a 37 year old working class wife to Steve, has a large tumour implanted on the left side of her well-knowledge brain, she discovers that the world is a very much larger place to live in and how little time spends waiting for her to do things.
With no children and chemotherapy wrapped around her finger, Jane looses out on precious time spent doing the things she loves to do. Whether that be spending time with four of her life time friends who have been there since her childhood, or living her dream job as a science teacher in a middle school. Will she be strong enough to fight through the ups and downs of the terrible disease called Cancer?

Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage.
