I turned around just as he lowered himself on the log next to me. 

"What sort of deal?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Meet me here everyday at sunset and we can get to know each other better. Deal?" He looked at me with a glint of hope in his blue eyes.

"Deal."

Blair McKenny's only wish is to be free. Stuck with her strict aunt and uncle and 3 younger brothers, she is rarely let out of the  house. To make matters worse, her uncle has been harassing her both physically and mentally. 

Always loving an adventure, Blair wanders into the woods one day and finds a small clearing where she spends time reading and enjoying the quiet. That is until she meets the boy who will turn her life around.
