The Rift details the epic quest of two rag-tag heroes to save their system from utter domination. It all began when Jard and Keena, two mercenaries, were tasked by their employers to steal a prototype weapon from their system's most dreaded regime, The Dark Star Alliance. The weapon, called the "metacore", housed strange, mysterious power capable of granting uncanny ability to whomever wielded it. The mercenaries, however, were unaware of the core's power, but soon came to realize that it could be the end of their system's freedom. Along with various strange companions, Jard and Keena set forth on a mission to protect their homeland from those who would ruin it.All Rights Reserved
