[COMPLETED] Alfred was a young boy who's parents died a while back. He grew up in a terrible orphanage -- a prison, more like... And the only thing that kept him to pull along, to stay alive, to get up every morning, was the beautiful person that walked by the fences every day...
He would give anything to be able to talk to the pretty boy beyond the fence.

This will incorporate some ideas from the Vocaloid songs Paperplanes and Prison - Len and Rin Kagamine songs.
I have such a strong AmeriPan following that I figured you'd like this.
Buckle up and get ready to get down with some feels.

Loving The Enemy ( America x Russia )
Alfred, who has been told to shut up and grow up all his life, fears the scary and powerful Ivan. But to prove he is strong and to protect his friends, he attempts to face his fear. Ivan, a lonely Russian whose immense power has caused him to be very lonely and feared, hates the childish actions of Alfred. But what happens when they are stuck in the same house with each other for only heaven knows how long? Read to find out! This is a America x Russia fanfic of the anime Hetalia. I do not own hetalia nor the characters, but I do own this story. PS I use human names and hints of yaoi but nothing serious. ~Edit~ I finally updated the cover xD I didn't like the old cover, so I fixed it :D thanks!Complete

A Hero By Any Other Name [OLD]
[OLD. NEW VERSION OUT NOW.] One day, Alfred had mistakenly left his journal in the meeting room. He had left his stuff behind due to an emergency back at his home, and so; the remaining nations were appalled at finding something that he'd been writing in. And unfortunately, curiosity killed the cat. Many of the others began to read the pages, which led them all to realize that Alfred was a whole lot different than what they'd thought he'd be, for being the personification of the United States. Several twists and turns begin to crumble, as a hidden secret between Arthur, Matthew, and Alfred comes to light. While Matthew descends into mental chaos- the rest of the nations manage to take back the journal, only to find out some horrible secrets the American has about them. The Storm [DISCONTINUED]
{STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn.
