Abbie is a 17 year old girl struggling through her Junior year in high school. Little do they know that Abbie is hiding a big secret from everyone. She had cancer in sixth grade and is now in remission. But secretly Abbie knows that her cancer is creeping back into her life. One day she gets hit in the head in phy Ed and goes into a coma.
Joshua is also 17. He goes to the same school as Abbie and after he finds out about her in a coma he decides that he will visit her. He imagined her hospital room to be packed with people from school but when he gets there he finds no one. After visiting her many times he falls madly in love with her. But what if she dies? What if she never wakes up? What if when she wakes up the cancer has spread everywhere?
