Do you dare to walk this trail? Step carefully, who can tell what these fables will reveal reflecting your world...or even you...

                                                                                The Ant and the Butterfly

A young ant once came upon a butterfly just coming out of her cocoon, wings wrinkled and wet. He thought she was an ant like himself and said, "What is that on your back? How did you find so much food so fast! The others won't believe it!"
The butterfly realized the ant's mistake but, overwhelmed by his confident reaction, said, "Oh... Yes! And I think I have enough for the both of us. Will you lead the way?" The ant proudly did so, the butterfly crawling behind.
When they arrived at the anthill, the harried workers took the burden from the butterfly's back without question. Torn, she barely survived to crawl underground the rest of her days
No longer a butterfly.

Those who pretend to be what they are not, may become what they pretend to be.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

Mora, once innocent and sheltered, begins a new life at a prestigious academy. But as chilling secrets about her past-and the world around her-begin to unravel, she starts to wonder: Was any of it ever real, or was she living inside a web of lies? What starts as a search for truth spirals into something far darker. Mora realizes she isn't just uncovering secrets-she's walking a path someone designed for her. A pawn in a deeper, crueler game. Can she break free from a fate she never chose? Antagonist (Kairos): "They call it fate. I call it design. You don't lose when I take your will-you lose the moment you believed you ever had it. Fate isn't cruel. It's exactly methodical." Aaron: "People always think peaceful places are so damn perfect. But peace can be heavy too, can't it? Like silence that never lets you speak." Mora: "I never asked to be everyone's perfect doll-no thanks. Perfection's just a fancy cage wearing a pretty face. If it thinks it can keep me locked in, it's got another thing coming. Time to say goodbye, and don't let the door hit you on the way out-with grace, okay sweetheart." Tagline: "She didn't ask to be saved. She only wanted not to be unseen." --- Content Warning: This story contains emotionally charged content and intense scenes, including psychological trauma, manipulation, and grief, as well as vivid combat sequences involving blood, injury, and high-stakes confrontation. For what seems to be endless life cycles of seasons after seasons after seasons, the people of the planet, Caswuna, lived a respectable and healthy life. The changes the people of this world went through were not anything drastic. Everyone realized they had to take charge more than their usual everyday activities. Because of the global economic catastrophe, most, if not all forms of government, through the many nations, were silenced. Slowly but surely, the small groups found out how to save their water... by not washing clothes or using less of the clothing they had. They came to realize they had to wear something from elements of nature. Many but not all tribe members learned to live without the domination of materialism, like clothes. This story can speak to us today. We can't let greed, industrialism, and the simplest details of life dictate our personal, cultural, and national lives. We can live without these industrial standards if we want to hard enough. Don't let shiny objects be an obsession. It is never what we have or do that is the issue, but it could be how we live our own lives. Never live in our comfort zones. It will always destroy you in the end. This story is about a young adult female, Elenwen Aurora Shade on how she will enlighten and guide all the people of villagers around her to a wonderful future while going back to the era that nearly destroyed itself because of greed and power that has change a lot all around them.
