Alene is a beautiful angel who suddenly fell from the heavens along with other angels.
Now that she is in the human realm she is scared for her life. Angels have never been exposed to illness's which could be life threatening.
On top of that demons have been rising from hell. 
Angels and demons are enemies. Have been for centurys.
The underworld god made it so that demons could never die unless killed by there own kind. Once there healed there tormented all over again in hell.
If you drink every ounce of blood from an angel it will allow them to die how ever.
Many demons desire to have that freedom of choosing how they will die and many want to die.
Which is why Angels never get to close to demons. But now she can't fly and is stuck in the human realm.
Alene helps a man out who turns out to be a demon.His name is Mason, a sexy demon who alene for the most part keeps her eyes on.
Her blood could be at sake.
She decides to go on a journey to the river of wisdom where all questions asked are answered truthfully.
While she's in this weak state theres no one she can defend even against a human. So Mason offers to be her body guard in gratitude of her helping him.
Before they go on this long journey to find out why angels are falling from the sky and why demons are rising, they meet a kind hearted fairy who ends of showing them the way, Leana.
As this small groups make there way to the river to save both the angels and humans from the bloodthirsty demons they meet people on the way.
That could cause trouble non or less.
As the journey goes on could Alene soften up to the demon man and possibly fall for his black heart?
Or could Mason have his own plans..
As there lives are in each others hands could they really trust each other
