There's something different about this world. Something disastrous. Something monstrous. Something inhumane. The people here, they see life differently. They live atrociously with no recollection to what the world used to be. 

     Carson Tolliver is from a time of technological advancements. Her entire life, Carson strived to achieve her goals and become the person her parents envisioned her to be. Carson is surprised to find herself in the terrifying new world where the goal of humans is to survive. Like all people in this world, Carson has changed, and not exactly for the better. She discovers that despite the terrifying creatures of this disastrous planet, her real enemy is someone she never imagined being terrified of. Herself. 

     Maybe her journey through this monster-infested world would be better with someone by her side. After all, in this world there are two types of people, those confused like Carson, and those who are deranged.
