Panem. 13 districts lived within, being protected by the ways of the capitol. Until the rebellion. The citizens of the 13 districts rose up and tried to take down the capitol, leading to 12 districts to be defeated, the 13th destroyed. But they didn't get off that easy. The Hunger Games was what came out of it. It was decreed that each year, each district shall offer up in tribute one young man and woman, between the ages of 12 and 18. These children, or tributes as they are called, are forced into an arena to fight to the death. All until 1 tribute remains. One Victor. Let the 1st annual Hunger Games take it's toll on the nation, and let the tributes fight their battles for them.
