The Purple Jewel is a book about a girl names Opal who lived in Germany but had to move to Finland cause her papa got a new job when her mama died and her sister left when her mom died so when they get to Finland she meets a neighbor who is trying to be nice so he shows her his tree house they fall in a hole where a husband and wife live and Opal finds a necklace with a purple jewel and the necklace is cursed and evil spirit try's to take over Opal and Opal started to disappear. So across Finland they look for the magic items to stop the curse hope you like it
