Quinn's world was, and always has been, a very dark place-- filled with voices that taunt him and thoughts of things that would send a person insane. His family are around, just being himself and his parents. His parents are on the edge of a breakdown, constantly arguing and adultery being an everyday occurrence. There isn't a strong support of love and care for him to fall back on as he once could as an innocent child. Because of this he has learnt to defend for himself, not just from the insane asylum that is his mind, but also from hell that has taken form as the world around him. With no money in the bank, or support from his parents--he decides to join a small gang. He doesn't think much of it; getting high, drinking nightly and earning more daily than someone sitting in an office would annually. Eventually, it comes to bite him in the arse as he finds himself at the end of an aimed pistol, and staring into the eyes of a man who will change his life quicker than a cheetah chasing its pray.
