Our Secret Family (rewrite)

No one wants to be pregnant in high school. No one wants to have a child in high school. No one wants to be a part of the couple that everyone wants to fail. Unfortunately, I manage to accomplish all three.

My name is Cara Billings. I am seventeen years old. A junior in high school. The mother of a beautiful baby boy and the girlfriend to a careless freshman boy, Dean. Who just happens to be the father of my child.

We did not know I was pregnant; until the day I gave birth. I had no symptom and I gained no weight. We decided not to tell anyone about Cage. The decision to keep my son a secret was not out of shame, but out of hopes to show that not all teen parents are screw ups. This is our story. This is how we kept our son a secret for almost two years.
