I was memorized by the dark blue locks that hung over her shoulders, bouncing lightly as she crossed the classroom. she was one of my closest friends at the time and she never wore her hair down, so I made sure to tell her she looked good. I told her so many times that she asked me to stop. but it's ok, that's what a good friend does, right? or did I mean something different? no that possibly couldn't be it, could it? that's what Adrien didn't understand at the time. but it's funny how fast things can change. there is something so horribly dark about past friends. the days spent together, laughing and collecting memories just to be thrown away. it started out as friends, then best friends then lovers. that feeling of comfort slowly moving away gives Marinette shivers. she never wanted it to end like this, but she truly never wanted to start like that either. in her eyes, they were meant to be best friends and nothing more, in his eyes they were meant to be lovers. some friends aren't meant to stay together forever, but this one is worth a try. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" She yelps reaching the girls body to the sky. "No!" He yells as the Ladybugs surround him. "Ladybug!" He disappears, the sky clears. Both of them did not know what to expect. *none of the picture used are mine* "I've... well, I've been seeing someone," Chat admitted, his cheeks flushing slightly. "It's been strange because for so long, I thought I was in love with you." Ladybug paused, caught off guard. She leaned in. "Oh? Who's the lucky person?" Chat scratched his head, flustered. "I don't want to say too much, but she's amazing-funny, kind, talented, and real. I can be myself around her." Ladybug smiled, her heart warming. "That sounds wonderful, Chat. I'm glad you've found someone like that." Chat grinned, a bit sheepish. "It was unexpected. I had these strong feelings for you for so long, but now I realize it was more admiration." Ladybug's heart skipped a beat. Chat had been infatuated with her, but she had never been able to return his feelings. "That's a good realization, Chat," Ladybug said gently. "I know what it's like to think you're in love, only to realize maybe it wasn't." Chat's eyes brightened. "Wait, are you... seeing someone too?" Ladybug nodded. "Yes. I've been spending time with someone. He's thoughtful, always makes me smile. I think I'm falling for him." Chat's eyes widened in surprise, but he smiled genuinely. "That's amazing, m'lady! You deserve that." "Thanks, Chat." Ladybug smiled. "I think we've both grown, realizing we needed to open up to others, to find happiness beyond our masks." He nodded. "For the longest time, I thought being in love with you was my only option, but now, she makes me feel something I didn't know I could. I think I'm falling in love with her." Ladybug said softly, "She's lucky to have you. I'm happy for you, Chat." Chat flashed a grin. "Thanks, m'lady. But you haven't told me much about your guy. Is he as amazing as you?" Ladybug laughed. "He's great. We've known each other for a while. We used to be friends, but over time, I started seeing him differently." Chat's eyes gleamed. "A longtime friend, huh? That's interesting. Looking back upon the rest of my novels, it has become quite evident that I have a love affair with writing stories centered around Adrien and Marinette. I have decided that enough is enough and that my favoritism ends here. This book is to help me branch out and attempt to write, hopefully meaningful, short stories while featuring other pairings. Each chapter will begin a new adventure that I can't wait for you to read!Concluida
