Sila ay mga kakaibang nilalang na naninirahan dito sa mundo ng mga tao simula nang sinira ng mga reficuls, sa pamumuno ni Caine, ang kanilang mundo -- ang Laveris. 

Ang kanilang anyo ay katulad ng isang tao kaya madali lang para sa kanila ang magpanggap, makihalubilo at maki-ayon sa uri ng pamumuhay ng mga tao.

Si Ephilus. Simula nang malaman niyang nandito na rin sa mundo ng mga tao ang mga reficuls, naging misyon na niya ang hanapin at tipunin ang mga nakakalat na laverians bago pa sila maubos at isa-isang patayin ng mga reficuls. 

Kailangan nilang pagtulungang labanan ang mga reficuls at hanapin ang nawawalang "Heart of Laveris" na siyang susi upang mabuo muli ang kanilang nasirang mundo.
