Ava wasn't that fairly average. She grew up with a birth defect and infection on her tongue. But all her life she wished to be a public speaker.

At the age of eleven the girl was taken to get surgery, and sadly had to have her tongue removed. At the time, she was too young for them to be able to replace it, and she'd have to wait until she was a senior and high school.

Now she was never bullied, just ignored. She hated being spotted yawning, eating, or opening her mouth in general but she never let her dream die.

Now graduation is coming up and a new 'tongue' has been added to her mouth, but will she be able to present a speech so well to get her a full-ride scholarship, or will she sink and be muddled in with the handicapped?
