With eyes the color of a bouquet of marigolds, Vera can heat her body to sizzling degrees and learns that her newfound friend, Grant, can control her mind and body with his eyes the color of coal.

Ivy Mendler's a normal teenage girl, with normal friends, normal interests, and normal crushes (although she won't admit it to herself).
