It's the 1840s and the Irish Potato Famine has struck the population of Ireland. Families struggle to maintain what they have and supply food. People starve, and find themselves going to only one place; the workhouse.
The McCreary's have owned a family farm for as long as they can remember. It's always been their way of life. But when the famine strikes, where do they find themselves? Will they be able to produce a harvest to keep their family alive, or will they find themselves struggling through a lifetime?

After making his plan of escape, He ran, as far as his legs could, Harry took the time-turner and his belongings and just... ran, far enough from everyone. Tom Riddle, a Half-blood Parselmouth entering his first year in Hogwarts filled with curiosity and wonder, but most of all hatred for everyone. Mistreated by muggles and looked down upon by his own kind because of blood status 'I will be better and leave them all in the dust, and so his quest for knowledge and power began. What were to happen if these two opposites meet, a boy who wants nothing and a boy who wants everything. Would they go in the same path as before or will they forge a new one?
