The Long Fall

There are many reasons one starts to write. For some they have a story that they have worked out already that they need to get out on to paper, for others they have a character and they have no idea where it will start or how this person’s life will display itself in the end of their tale. For me, it was more simple than that.
It was a feeling, it was remembering what my home town was like in that amazing time between summer and fall where the sun is still out late into the evening, but there is a crispness to the day unlike days before.
