Tricia has been heartbroken all her life. First, getting walked out by her father, then being stupid and kissing her first-year crush on a dare and getting ridiculed for the rest of her years there. Lastly, the final blow; getting her heart ripped out from her chest, stomped on and shredded, only to be tossed onto the road for cars to run over by her first and (she thinks) last boyfriend.
Then came the new boy; Zephyr Ramone. He went from New Guy On The Block (or On Campus in this case) to Hottest Dude 101 within hours of his transfer. Girls swoon at the sight of him and guys are just plain jealous of him, even if they had to die admitting. Not Tricia, that's for sure. She simply can't find anything good about him so she tosses him into the category of the species she has come to hate with a passion.
Intrigued by her cold personality and hostile attitude towards guys, Zephyr finds himself wanting to get to know her more and Tricia wants nothing more to do with him other than wanting to get him out of her ten-mile radius, fearing for her life.
Can Zephyr bring Tricia to a world she never knew? Will he change the way she perceives love? Or will he just be another 'Runaway Boyfriend' as Tricia calls, who breaks her heart and runs away, leaving her to pick up the pieces in desolation?

"Not all the wolves out there are out to get you, Little Red Riding Hood. Just like how not all the boys out there are out to hurt you," he tells me, gently lifting my chin to look into his mesmerising grey-blue eyes.
"I'm just not ready to put my heart on the line again. I don't want to feel like all hope in the world is lost. I don't ever want to feel like that again," I tell him, looking painfully away from his beautiful blue eyes. He takes my hand into his big ones.
"You don't have to be scared anymore," he says as he leans down and takes my lips to a world I've never known.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
