After her "death" the Shinsengumi continue to mourn their loss until by miracle and luck she is returned but on certain conditions set out by a mutual agreement of her clan. 

They try to live normally but hidden parts of the past keep them from fully relaxing and makes them question if the past she says is the past is really what she says it is. Despite her claims that the she is fine they will come to find the true nature and feelings of what she is, a demon. 

And when her worst fears come true, they will truly see how much of herself is just an act glorified in weapons and smooth talk. It could either be her tragic end or her dream come true.
