31 partes Concluida A story of blatantly ripped off ideas spun into something not quite original, written by a 16 year old weeaboo who thought that Sword Art Online was the epitome of entertainment but started to grow out of that phase of his life before finishing the story, leaving the plot confusing and riddled with Japanese references and unoriginality. One could almost claim it to be a coming-of-age story about the author growing out of his angsty teenage years of life and realizing how terrible his book turned out to be (and how terrible Sword Art Online is).
Yeah, let's go with the coming-of-age idea.
...Oh, you want to know what the actual book is about? Well, why didn't you say so!
Set in 2027, this gripping tale centers on the exploits of a man by the name of David Stevenson, recruited by the government (along with 499,999 other people) to participate in the beta test of the newest advancement in virtual reality technology: the Dream Maker. However, this beta turns out to be a no-holds-barred battle for supremacy, pitting 250,000 testers against the other 250,000 testers where the virtual world and the real world become one and the same.
In this death game, there are no extra lives. There are no continues.
Welcome to the world of lies, murder, and treachery.
