Melody Rose was a good girl, a great one in fact. She focused on her studies and devoted her entire attention to her school work and planning her future career for herself. Maybe that was why she wasn't exactly in the "popular" crowd, or in any crowd for that matter. She was ignored by everyone except for Gladys, the book keeper, and her very dear mother. That was until after getting out of high school. One fateful day at the book store, her clumsiness kicked in again as she wound up on the floor, tripped by the one and only Riley Carver. Riley was supposedly the towns "bad boy", but of course Melody didn't know that as she had never payed any attention at all to any social business ever. She didn't want a boyfriend, didn't need one. But Riley made her feel different. Nervous almost, and whenever she was around him she had a wild case of butterflies in her stomach. She just couldn't keep her cheeks a normal temperature around him. When Riley keeps appearing suddenly at every turn after the book store, how can she ignore him? He made her feel different, yet somehow she was still completely oblivious to his feelings towards her. Is there hope for the young pair, or will Melody never realize her true feelings for Riley, or realize Riley's for her? Read more in 'Summer of Riley'.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
