This story isn't about the epidemic that killed/sterilised almost half of humanity. This isn't about the struggle to eradicate the disease, nor the struggle to find a way to continue the human race. No, this is about the next generation, the one created artificially in government labs below the city. This is about Kya. DISCONTINUED! I have decided that this story is simply not good enough to continue. However, I am writing a new story based on that summary, except the last sentence. He loved my mother so, that he couldn't find it in himself to free her from the pain. She was already pregnant with me, inside her womb , the infection seeped into my blood cells and that's why I am unique. When I was born my father ran tests over and over that would have killed a normal child but I was different, my DNA patters were different, my genes were mixed. Such things to happen afterwards is what my story is about. There's no such things as 'A Happy Ever After' in my story, it's sick and twisted with darkness around every corner. I know this is different from my usual content, but I love this web series. This is my first time trying true fanfic, so I can't promise it'll be as good as my more original stories; however, I will still do my best to stay true to the original's content. This is also my first time dealing with some swearing, and I will keep it restricted to the ones used in the show.
