Kai and Gabriel's mothers used to be best friends. Until, that is, Gabe's parents had to move away when he was only two. Now, Kai is twenty years old. His few play dates he had as a baby with Gabe are just distant memories. But when Kai and Gabe's mothers reconnect once more, Kai is dragged from his American home all of the way to Spain, all to see a boy he couldn't care less about. What started out as a nice vacation soon turns into a difficult task of saving Gabe's precious boat, sprinkled with an excess of family drama. But, the longer he spends time with Gabe, the more he learns about friendship, pain, and even love.
