We all have a story, however the said story is only what we want it to be. Perfect. The ultimate dream, perfect. We distort the ugly and make it beautiful lies, believable yes. Perfect smiles, dazzling eyes, pretty personalities. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. But, what about what we don't show? What we hide? The broken. Broken heart, shattered mind, ugly thoughts. Broken. Broken. Broken. But with so much perfect how is there any broken? A question we forget to ask. This story takes you on the adventures of Tyler Mary Stonewall, a broken teen trying to be perfect. Disorders, heartbreak, and lies fill her life. However, what she shows is different. "Miss perfect" for her mother, "Miss Cool" for her friends. With all the disguises Tyler hardly has time for "Miss Tyler," and soon tries for more than what her disguise is. Her life will change and become "Miss Me"

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. At first, I was so nervous I didn't realize that we were already kissing but after a few moments, I realized how soft his lips felt on my own. Before I can register it I felt him moving against me. I would have gotten off of him but I realize that he wasn't moving to get away from me. No, He was moving his lips against mine." °°°°° Aiden Moore isn't extraordinary. He has average looks, he is OK with sports, and his only strong point is that he is smart (although that doesn't mean much to his fellow classmates). And, of course, his virgin ass has never had a girlfriend, let alone a crush. It seemed as if he would never find someone. That was until he met her, Scarlett Hale. She was the most beautiful girl you will ever meet. Kind, sweet, and one of the few people with a higher GPA then him, she was amazing and Aiden imagined that she would be all his. Once Aiden gets rid of her boyfriend, Aaron Tyler. The most annoying guy you will ever meet, Aiden gags just thinking about him. The man is smoking hot and makes Aiden's dreams of getting the girl to seem very impossible. So what would happen if Aiden gets involved with the wrong person? Will Aiden get the girl? Will he fall short? Or will he fall into the arms of a guy who is in love with the girl he loves? _______________________________________ WARNING: First book EVER! The best part about this book is that it has some funny bits and introduces you to characters I use for a while. 17 year old, Elena Hawkins thought she was going to be done with boys forever. What Nate Thompson did to her in the fifth grade was unacceptable. She didn't want to deal with heartbreak ever again. Without Nate in the picture anymore, her normal teenage life was going really well. She had straight A's, two incredible best friends, and wonderful parents. Her happy normal teenage life was all going to change. Forced to get along with the popular people, in their all too famous hang out spot. She meets Tyler Black along the way, and her whole world flips upside down. With his innuendo jokes, good looks, gorgeous black hair, and bad boy smirk, Elena can't seem to stay away. She learns that there's more to Tyler than everyone thinks. A side that she's only seen of him is shown. The school's bad boy isn't all that bad after all. Will Tyler fall for her? Will feelings be reciprocated? Or will he break her heart just like Nate did? ~*~ "That's the first time he's called me by my first name. He usually calls me Cutie. I don't think I've ever liked the sound of my name so much, until now. He made it sound better. He makes it better." ~Elena Hawkins "Do I make her nervous? I don't want that. I want her to be herself around me. Show me who she really is, not what everyone else sees. I wanna see the real Elena Hawkins. And that is my mission." ~Tyler Black #95 in Teen Fiction - 03/09/17 Copyright ©2016 by buttercup_roses All Rights Reserved.

"When I tell you that he hates me, you'll probably assume it's because he's a jerk...but you'd be wrong. He's not a jerk. I am." --- Several years ago tragedy struck Emma's home, leaving her broken... like a cup with cracks spiraling and slithering around the edges. Slowly, bitterness crept in like tar, hardening between each fracture to resemble a deceitful wholeness. She became a monster, and targeted her venom on the sweetest person she could find: Trinity Nixon. Too bad the boy Emma longed for was Trinity's brother. Now, as Emma fights to win the heart of the boy who despises her, she's forced to hide her demons. She paints her fragile cup in pinks, yellows, and oranges - all the colors of the sun. She paints on a smile, and an unusual sense of humor, so that the world will view her as bright and cheerful, when in reality she's breaking. But she's completely unprepared for the acidic truth that melts away the tar, demolishing her shell, and awakening the Emma White buried deep inside. --- Book 1 in The Dismantled Pride series *Story was previously titled "Faking It"
