Calamity is a trying to do what everyone else is in this desolate wasteland; trying to survive. While she doges bullets and awkward conversations, she still has to manage escaping the government and the day to day zombie horde that passes by their outpost made out of a run down gas station. She struggles to survive with the her own little group of escaped government convicts, hold up in a small district of San Fransisco. When a survivor shows his face to the group, he changes lives, he makes living harder. As soon as he arrives they feel as they are being watched, they struggle to find if there is a traitor amongst them, or if it's just the wasteland getting to them. What seems to be a normal post apocalyptic scenario ends up having a dark twist.

Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~β‘ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . Dark Secret
It has been a while since Jack and Mark had got together with Jack moving in with him. However, Mark has had to keep a dark secret from his boyfriend Jack, his friends and his family. However, it's not so easy to keep such a big secret when keeping it to himself could put everybody's lives at risk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please give this story a chance, I would really appreciate it as I have been working really hard to make a hopefully enjoyable story. It may have a slow start as I want the audience to feel as immersed in the story as possible, therefore I want a big build up before we get to all the gross and intense stuff. Edit: The build up of this story became so big I decided to split the book into two parts haha. This first book with contain gore and violence, but not as much as so as the second book. The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. And the dead do not cry. 6 years have passed since nuclear war broke out, destroying the planet and killing most of the world's population. Different geographical regions have been affected differently, the climate mutating and transforming people into horrific monsters of all kinds. Now humanity must fight to survive amongst literal zombies, vampires, and horrific fungal spores capable of reducing even the strongest to nothing. Emily lives with a small, ragtag group of survivors, her friends before the outbreak occurred. When one of them falls ill, in dire need of medicine, the group is forced to travel to the hospital across town, where they discover something, or rather someone unexpected. Mark was a normal person before the outbreak, before he was bitten by his own father, before everything went to hell in a handbasket. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise.
