Her Vampire Heart

Indigo Dreygen once had a relatively normal life, besides being madly in love with a boy she barely knows, Slaton Ivanov, and her father dying when she was five years old. She was average 5'4", had average brown hair and brown eyes. She was happy and funny and had amazing best friends, Katie and Alex. During the summer at Indigo's best friend, Katie's, house, Indigo is attacked and turned by a vampire. She turns into something different altogether; something cold and guarded. Indigo returns after the summer, trained to control her urges by her mentor/lover Nathan, but she is in for a surprise when she walks back into her old school. She realizes Slaton isn't what she thought, that he is her enemy and that he's been hiding something very big from her. Not to mention his girlfriend, Gemma, is still in the picture, despite the situation. Indigo's life turns upside down in a blink of an eye and as war between the races break out, how will Indigo handle everything.
