The official prequel to "Star Wars Battlefront: Twilight Company" by Alexander Freed, this is the story of a bounty hunter, her quarry, and a choice. 

This story was originally released in Star Wars Insider #161, and was subsequently re-released by Del Rey in their 2016 Star Wars sampler (which you can download in its entirety for FREE wherever books are sold). It will also be included in its entirety in the paperback version of "Star Wars Battlefront: Twilight Company" coming out in June 2016.

But every plan has its flaws, and when things go wrong and secrets are revealed, it's clear that nothing will ever be the same again. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. (SWR AU story Number 37) Hope: a Star Wars Rebels story de StarbirdInferno

Ezra, Sabine, chopper and a few rebel soilders are sent on a secret mission, ordered by Hera and sato, to investigate one of their hammer head corvets which was thought to be attacked by imperials. They go to collect any supplies from the ship and check for any survivers but end up confronting someone of great danger to the crew. The mission ends up putting stress and worry on phoenix squadron due to one crew member but when in doubt they find and figure out how to address the large problem which was created in the mission. The procedure the squad takes is a 'roll of the dice' but ends up paying off with the heroics of another crew member and the main motivation of the rebelion....Hope.
