My body was shaking with adrenaline.
Oh god.
Start. Please start.
I jiggled the keys furiously, willing the car to move. It didn't budge.
"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit!" I muttered to myself as I saw the approaching train. This was not the time or place for my car to break down. Of all places the place where my old beat up Chevy could die, it chose a train stop. Seriously!
The rain was pouring down all around and the drops hitting the metal of the car was deafening. I could barely hear myself think, and the only noise that was audible was the horn of the train sounding off at full blast trying to alert me. The train was getting closer. It was pitch black outside, and the lights of the train were getting awfully close. Real fear started to set in. My hands refused to stay still; they continued to shake as I tried the ignition again, and again. The keys slipped through my sweaty fingers and were lost to the floor.
The train was too close now. No way could it stop. If I stopped to breath, I would be able to see all the rivets and bolts that made the train, perfectly.
"Come on!" I screamed. There was no reply. There wasn’t enough time to get out of the car.
I looked one last time at the train as it barrelled toward me, only a couple yards away.
I screamed as loud as I could, unable to move.
My body braced for the impact of the train that was surely going to kill me.

"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. ☁ Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

She has the great best friend, nice apartment and car and she's a year away from her degree, but something just feels missing. Megan doesn't hate her life by any means... She's just gotten sort of bored with it, always feeling like there's something else she needs... Until she meets... Noah. She never expected to meet someone like him much less feel the sparks that ignite as soon as they meet eyes.... Can she just ignore feelings like that? Feelings she never felt before, not even from her own boyfriend. Noah won't be able to resist though, he has to do something about it... about her. Will she give in to the feelings taking over her? ---------- Excerpt: "Oh, you've been picturing me naked have you?" She asked sort of becoming amused now. Shit do I sound like a pervert? "No that's not what I mean...I just..." I tried to laugh it off hoping she wouldn't think I was a douche. She glanced inside through the sliding doors to see what looked like the girl she was dancing with earlier looking for her. When she turned back to look at me she had a look in her eyes that while I didn't know what it meant was still incredibly sexy. "Damn that's too bad... because I have been thinking about you naked since I ran into you this morning." She said confidently standing up and walking past me towards the house but not before brushing her hand across my leg. I watched her in awe as she walked back inside swinging her hips making my eyes go straight towards her ass. I sat there for a few minutes confused but extremely turned on... I couldn't lie I was definitely picturing her naked now.

I stood there leaning against the door for a second. Then screams reached my ear. I looked to where it came from and saw a girl at the other end of the hall laying on the ground with a gaping hole in her stomach. Three other students had ripped away at the girl's insides and were chewing it up. One paused for a second and looked up at me. He stood up and I panicked. I knew him. He was in my chorus class. August was his name. He had blond, curly hair, blue eyes, and was probably the tallest person in the entire school. August opened his now bloody mouth and let out a screech that sent chills down my spine. He leaped over the other two cannibals and the now dead girl and broke into a sprint. As soon as he leaped I had also started running. I made it out of the 300 hall and hid behind the vending machine that stood at the entrance of the hall. Seconds later, August was standing just inches from me. He looked around and I stayed as quiet and still as I possibly could. I didn't even breathe. After what seemed like years of waiting, August turned back toward the dead girl and walked out if sight. I stayed where I was for a little bit longer until my lungs demanded I start breathing again. Directly in front of me was the library and cafeteria. To the right of the cafeteria was the auditorium and the music hall. "If I could just make it to the chorus room maybe I'll find some of my friends," I thought to myself. I was about to take my first step when I looked down at my shoes. They were brand new and when I walked, they squeaked. I took my shoes off as quietly as I could. I had my Captain America socks on and I knew I'd have to take those off as well. I just couldn't risk slipping. Once my feet were bare I took off in a quiet sprint towards the music hall. How awesome is that cover though!? Lol my dad made it.

Blaze White is the New Girl at the Prep school in her mothers old home town. But her only goal for senior year is to keep a low profile, no friends, no parties and NO boys. Axel may be adored and worshipped by his peer-but he hates people, except 5. So when a beautiful but closed off girl suddenly enters his group. He is not welcoming of the mysterious beauty despite the pull they both feel. •••• WARNING: This was written many moons ago. I have decided to put it back up because of a large request from readers. However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

"aargh!" That was a cry of pain as I became suddenly conscious.I must have been out for hours.I could feel the excruciating pain tearing through my scalp."I don't think I can hold it much longer".I looked around the field, blinded by darkness as the grasses pierced through my skin and tried to remember how I got here."What happ...how did...how am I...?!", unfinished questions racing through my mind and just then I could feel something dripping from my forehead into my left eye, stinging at every drop and I reached out to it, rubbing my eyes fiercely. It didn't take much for me to know that I was bleeding severely, my forehead was partially covered in blood.I tore off a piece of cloth from my shirt and wrapped it around my head like a bandage.I was wet and soaked in blood, my blood?-I could smell it."Now how did I get here, what the heck happened to me?". I was still figuring that out when suddenly, a bright light was shone on my face.I felt my eyes burn, trying to retain minimum light and it quickly adjusted as fast as it could.I looked towards the light-it was a van, honking and revving simultaneously.Even with my partially blinded eyes, I stood up slowly, minding my surrounding carefully as I tried to see the person in the van.Took me a split second to recognize the person and at that moment, I remembered how this nightmare started."Yes, yes, I remember everything".Those were the last words I said as I watched the van head my way and then.....
