Sapphire Costs didn't know what troubles would occur when the new guy, Cody Lee, comes and stays nine months with her and her mother.
Besides thinking he's a jerk and that he's totally hot and falling for his good looks, Sapphire hates him,
He's smart about everything and annoys her.
To make things worse her older sister, Chloe, is marrying Sapphire's young and attractive History teacher, Mr. Skys. Her Mother also finds another man after her husband left to be with another woman, and falls in love with him. Only problem is that he hates Sapphire and Cody.
Just when Sapphire has had about enough drama in her life, her best friend Lucy goes through a crises and goes out with Sapphire's other best friend, Brad who graduated from high school a year ago. Lucy gets into bad habits and ends up moving away to a boarding school to get her back together.
Things may be turning out better with her mother finding love, her sister moving out and the boy of Sapphire's dreams, Dean asking her out. But how good is it going out with him when Cody's jealous and falls for her.... Just when the nine months are up..
