Growing up with very loving parents is Jizane Fortez. Her mom is a meticulous women but has a heart as precious as a diamond. Her father on the other hand, teaches her to be a fine warrior which her mother does not approve of but allows it nevertheless. Both of her parents love her. What could go wrong when you have a loving family and your parents rule a kingdom? 

Everything. Jizane lives in a world where everyone's flame are what gives them their status. Only hers is different. Her magic is also deemed unique. She enters an academy which is filled with lies and confusion and met her companion named Salem, a conceited bratty and arrogant jerk, who told her she was not the princess nor child of her present parents and kingdom but a child of a non-existed kingdom which is told to be just rumours.

How will she face this?
Will she thrive and survive?
Or will she fall?

In a parallel galaxy from Earth, there is a a world inhabited by magic. Many creatures from fictional stories resided here, in a land called Grozine. The village of Haerz is known for the guardian angels who watch over the people and take them up to heaven when they pass. Serena Caelum is coming of age and must attend Charming's Academy of Magic to further her powers. Due to her intellect and power, she moves up to become a 2nd year student. Her arrival instantly makes her a well liked and respected student. For the year, she is exempt from daytime duties as a guardian angel to focus on her education. There is a tradition at the academy called "Your Soulmate" where blue roses are given to a person from a person with a connection. One night, Serena gets flowers at her door, but with no name or person there. Serena meets Nikolai Reve, who reveals himself as her Soulmate. However, he makes it VERY clear that he doesn't want her to be his and he had to give flowers against his will. For the time being, the two of them try to figure out what connects them despite being complete opposites of the other while having to be near each other almost all of the time and hide the fact that they are each other's soulmate. In the meantime, the two go on adventures through distant lands, dreams, and in their school. Falling hard for the other, but never making it clear until they are alone in a secluded spot.

Wanting to learn more about her kingdom, and the people of it, before she is forced into an arranged marriage and the throne for the rest of her life, Adellia ventures out into the kingdom to do just that. While there, Adellia meets a young blacksmith by the name of Faron and gets sucked into a plot that goes against her, and her mother's wishes. Will she be able to venture into the unknown, and survive out of the watchful eye of the palace? This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second. When the second part/book has been finished, I'll decide whether I like it as one book or to reincorporate the rest of the book to make it one. Entered in the Wattys(2020)!
