'He was so close but yet, so far away.'
I know his not sleeping yet, I can feel it. I slowly and quietly move my head towards my fiances direction. As usual he was busy with his phone. This past month he's been very distant and very secretive with me. I tightly close my eyes not wanting to think negative thoughts. I turned my back away from him and continue to pretend that I'm sleeping. I heard him let out a sigh and then I felt him hugs me from behind. A tear escapes my eyes. I'm slowly dying. I was feeling numb.

I got more and more annoyed as he drove up, parked and unmounted his bike. He pulled off his helmet and shook his head, noticing me there staring at him. We just stared at each other, neither moving, neither speaking. He started to make his way up his driveway, not even bothering with a greeting, so I called out to him. "Hey! Where've you been?" I tried not to sound accusatory or angry, and I succeeded. Though I sounded more hurt than anticipated. He stopped and walked towards me. He walked kind of slowly, like he was trying to avoid me. I stood on the steps, fighting the urge to walk towards him so we could talk. Never ever did I think I'd want to talk to him, yet here I was. Once in front of me he stayed at the bottom step, not climbing up further. He said nothing and I repeated my question once again, "Where have you been?" He shifted then just replied with "Out." "Out?" I repeated, getting refueled with annoyance. "That's it? You've been missing all day and all you have to say is you were out?" "Fuck, dude, what are you, my mom? I was out! Are you trying to keep tabs on me or something?" I was angry at him, and started to feel feelings towards him that I haven't felt in months. I stepped down two steps to look at him eye level, ready to argue with him. But, rather than open my mouth to fight, I found myself staring at his tired gaze and freezing for a moment. I didn't want to fight with him, and I saw he didn't want to fight with me-at least, that was my hope. I let my glare fall and closed the distance between us, wrapping my arms around him in the tightest hug I could muster. He seemed shocked, remaining rigid in my arms until I quietly muttered, "I was worried about you, jackass," into his neck. He just sighed before relaxing and hugging me back.
A TRUE L❤VE STORY
I haven't had a boyfriend in almost a year. Reason being I got hurt by the one I loved, the one who I had hoped to share a future with, the one who broke my heart. I was scared of ever falling in love again, would get upset with every guy who looked my way as I feared the worst and I also knew that most of them weren't looking for the type of relationship that I want so I would reject them all. My heart felt cold, I felt heartless and I didn't care about loving another anymore. That soon came to an end though and the only regret I had about that was letting my wall down for another 'potential heartbreaker'.Concluída

"I don't know who I am anymore," I whispered, staring into the distance sadly. I was fed up with feeling like this. I was like a lost puppy who couldn't navigate its way back home. It was pathetic. I didn't even know if I had a home anymore. Would my life always be like this? Would I ever feel content? Safe? His gorgeous amber eyes softened in sympathy. I felt Peter come up behind me and wrap his arms around my waist, then he slowly began trailing his lips down my neck, I was starting to become weak at the knees, then I snapped out of the trance it was putting me in just before before slipping out of his reach as quickly as possible. "Are you crazy!! I don't want your parents to walk in on us." I exclaim, feeling my cheeks start to blush. "Will you relax, they left two hours ago and won't be back until Friday, my dad's on a business trip." Peter says with a big smirk as he laces his fingers through mine "Oh, right." I say with a slight chuckle. With that Peter closed his door, and he pushed me onto the bed and began kissing me passionately, and the kisses trailed from my lips to my neck and before they could go any further, Peter stopped and looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes of his, and just smiled at me, as he ran the back of his hand along my face. "I love you Paisley." Peter says with a warm smile on his face. "I love you too." I say feeling nothing but pure joy as the words role off my tongue. And with that the moment was killed. We were after all only in high school, seniors for only 3 more days, but still only in high school, I sat up on the bed and Peter just sat there for a few moments. He looked at me for what seemed like a long time but was really only a few seconds, as he slowly went to get up off the bed, he planted a kiss on my forehead and with that my conscience had a choice. Either let the moment die or try to save it. I was going to try to save it. I grabbed Peter by his shirt and pulled him back on top of me as we fell onto the bed all over again and this time, there was not stopping, there was kissing and the whole 9 yards. Until I laid there in his bed, the sheets covering every last inch of me up out of embarrassment. Peter and I just laid there looking into each other's eyes. This kept replaying in my head during the cab ride home from the airport.

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.Concluída
