Haven Demoine, a seemingly ordinary eighteen year old senior going to Valley high school, thinks her biggest problems are the SATs and how she's going to survive the last half of high school. That is, until an accident turns her life upside down- that, and the appearance of Alden, a mysterious boy who seems to know the answers to questions she didn't even know she had. 

  Things pick up even more when havens mother goes missing, with a note being the only clue to her whereabouts.

  Can Haven save her mother, while at the same time figuring out the secrets of her past and family? Can she complete the impossible task set out for her, her destiny?

And in doing so, ultimately saves himself. Nova lived a normal life. She had her crazy sister. her grandfather and her friends. Then one night a dark angel appeared in her dream or should she say nightmare. She didn't have time to think much on it as the same dark stranger showed up, invading her life. Little did she know that this was no angel at all. But a demon hell bent on stealing her soul.
