Labeled!

Mia Struder has lived her whole life being labeled. From birth she was deemed as "strange" for not having blonde hair and brown/hazel eyes like the rest of her family. Just her brown hair and blue eyes caused resentment by her relatives. School was even worse. Mia had no friends and was called a "nerd" all the time. Bullies would beat her up physically and emotionally. She cried and was extremely self-conscious, but somehow made it through to Middle School. Just before High School starts, Mia comes to realization with her biggest difference from everyone, that she wouldn't dare say aloud. What might happen if this difference is leaked? Will she live her High School years drowning in depression and self-hatred, or will acceptance come from the craziest of places?
