Two kids, one boy one girl and two loving parents. Life was truly sweet.
Casper was a year older than Elysa and was adopted into the Everton family when he was one; Elysa soon came into the world after him. Like every sibling, they fought and found it tough to be civil around each other. In essence, family life was great. That was until one specific year social services abruptly knocked on the door and informed the Everton’s that they’ll have to take Casper away. The explanations given were not completely legitimate and the eight year old was forcibly taken. The family fought to have him returned, attending several court cases only to be told that his welfare was in danger if he still resided with the Everton’s. After years of trying, the Everton’s finally resigned and reluctantly resumed with their own lives. Ten years on another knock on their door was heard, once the door opened their life was transformed yet again, this time by Casper reappearing in their lives. But this Casper was not an inch of his former self and something told the Everton’s that they need to prepare them self for a long journey of emotions; one which Elysa will need to prepare for the most.
