Battlegrounds are not uncommon in Wren's world. War is not an uncommon way of death in this world. 

With so many battlegrounds, birth on them is a common thing. It is said that the children born on the battle ground are there by the gods to put life in a place of death. 

They don't accept children born in the moonlight on a battleground though. They say that their souls are possessed by the moon's rays and will wreck havoc on the world. 

They are often killed at birth and the mothers always die in childbirth. The fathers always go missing so the blood of the family ends there. As if it were cursed blood. 

Life is like this until Wren is born. Unprotected from the moons rays, she is hidden in a farmers family. She is raised like a normal child. However the problems soon finds her and breaks though the life she had built. 

Everyone wants her dead and she just wants to find revenge. Enemies arise and allies are found. 

But will Wren be able to live up to the destiny of the prophecy slapped onto her shoulders?

The daughter of the moon will face trials but she can only hope to keep her face up.
