At 9, Skylar was transported from her Sheffield home to the bustling capital of France, Paris. Now at 16 she has gotten on with her life as normal.

But on the eve of the 7th anniversary of her move, she is transported through a portal and finds herself in the workshop of a fellow Parisian. In an alternative version of Paris in the year 2000. She learns of a threat to this new world. An odd character is on the verge of creating a machine to turn the world into an unknown landscape and their intentions for this land are unknown. All that is known is that they can't be allowed to go through with this planet re-shape. Skylar must use the new inventions and contraptions to her advantage to defeat the imminent threat in time and save herself, Paris and the rest of the alternative world.

Inspired by the literary work of Polly Shulman and her books, 'The Grimm Legacy', 'The Wells Bequest' and 'The Poe Estate' and the artwork of Jean-Marc Côté and various other French artists around the turn of the 20th century and the decade succeeding 1900, this tale explores what could have been the 21st century, with a little bit of fantasy and doom thrown in there to mix it up a little.

Little Lila

40 parts Ongoing Mature

standalone ~ mafia siblings series "She's a monster!" "She's a demon!" "She's a... child." Lila grew up in an asylum. She could see things other people didn't see. Lila was told she was crazy. Crazy people must be punished. The asylum was a cover for a child-trafficking ring. Children were bought and sold to the highest bidder. Lila was sold to an assassin organization at age five. On top of being called crazy, now she was labeled a murderer. Years later, when Lila is twelve, moving constantly from asylums to assassin complexes, she's intercepted during a mission to kill the heir of the French Mafia. And she meets her long-lost family: the French Mafia. *NOTE - do not read if sensitive to torture or murder, those are main themes seeing as the protagonist was raised as an assassin* *I DO NOT OWN ANY PHOTOS IN THIS BOOK, CREDITS TO OWNER*
