Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. Cat Noir looked with fear and sorrow in his partners beautiful blue bell eyes, that seemed to only glow more in the evening sky, but he didn't pay much attention to that, too much going on in his head as he feared for the fate of the young woman he used to know. Ladybug could tell he was scared, scared they might not be able to find her, but she couldn't tell him the truth, she just couldn't. She had to keep it a secret, no matter how wrong it felt. And if Cat noir knew the truth about this, he would only feel sorry for his dear lady, and she didn't want that. She looked down from him to avoid eye contact, knowing she couldn't explain, and she didn't want him to see the tears filling up in her eyes. _____________________________________________________ Appropriate for all ages! Chat Noir is struggling with his Ladybug, who was becoming more and more distant. When Marinette and Chat enter into a friends with benefits arrangement to attempt to move on, will they push away the feelings they form for one another, or will they embrace them? Just so you know, I wrote this after seeing the season where Marinette became The guardian, so any new characters in the season's that follow are not involved in my story. I also dropped the peacock miraculous, and the special transformations with the Kawamis. This is the first story I've ever posted on here, so I hope you enjoy it! Also, the characters in this work are all 18+ and I do not own the rights to these specific characters.
