Nightjar is a hybrid between a nightwing and a mudwing and that doesn't make her life simple at all. She doesn't know who are her true parents and she feels ignorant and empty every day. Her adoptive mother, one day decides to tell her what she knows about her real family but it is not enough for Nightjar. Why did she have not seen at least one time her real father or mother ? But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before.
