When 16 year old Stephanie Lynch receives the news that both of her parents have fallen victim to lung cancer, she’s stunned. Her mother’s cancer progresses quickly and leaves their family shaken as she passes away a month and a half after her diagnosis. With her father still hospitalized and undergoing treatment, Stephanie and her older brother, Jason, are left to find solid ground in a world that has seemed to crash around them.
Even though Jason works as a cashier at the local grocery store and is able to hold up his half of the rent for the apartment he shares with his friend, Tyler, his small income could never support both his dad and younger sister. Jason panics and applies for all sorts of higher paying jobs, including one Stephanie can’t wrap her head around: A truck driver.
A semi-local band from Huntington Beach is about to go on tour around the US and they need someone to haul their trailer of supplies. Jason ends up being that person. Faced with the decision of staying in an empty house or climbing into the passenger’s seat of a shiny new tractor trailer, Stephanie enrolls in online school, packs her bags, and climbs in for a six month journey. Because Stephanie is a classically trained pianist, she finds herself no interest in Emblem3’s catchy pop music. In search of extra money to pay their dad’s medical bills, Stephanie looks for her own job on the band’s tour.
The band’s youngest member, Keaton, finds an interest in Stephanie’s search and teaches her something she had no desire to learn: How to play his music on the piano.
This story is inspired by Ang Mutya ng Section E, written by Lara Flores. This is my own interpretation and continuation of the story, starting after Keifer's return, picking up from Chapter 275 of the third book. While the characters and some plot elements are taken from the original story, many aspects, including the direction and events, are my own creation.
I am continuing this book in English for readers who may not have access to the previous chapters in English. If you want to know what happened before this point, you can find the Filipino version of the earlier chapters on Wattpad.

I respect the original author deeply, and I started writing this because the story was left unfinished and didn't receive updates for a while. I am genuinely interested in this world and wanted to bring my own conclusion to it. Please know that this is a fan creation, and I hope it's enjoyed as my version of the story.
