Violet was a nice person. Until, her mom died when she was only 5 years old and it was her, her brother, and her dad left.
When Violet's dad get's depression and sends his kids to an adoption center, where they're constantly re-adopted into abusing family and gets kicked back out. There put back into the adoption agency until she get's adopted by the Hood's.
