"So let me get this straight....I'm going in as this guy's PA? Getting him coffee, taking notes, dry cleaning etc. all that jazz?", Cari flung the file on her desk and stared at her supervisor, Heath uninterested in another dead end undercover assignment.
Heath chuckled at her, the exact reaction he was expecting.
"His coffee? Possibly yes. Dry cleaning? Most likely not. But Cari seriously, we have information from our intelligence that this man is believed to be involved with dealings of the Gagliardi Mafia. Big under the table dealings, and he's currently a person of interest in an ongoing murder case." He was hoping the more information he gave her more interested she'd be.
The word "mafia" instantly caught Cari's attention. She leaned forward, in her chair, looking over the pictures that were inside of the file. She couldn't deny the guy was attractive, but he's also a killer.
She looked up at Heath with a big grin on her face.
