!! My sincere apologies if this is cringey. I wrote it when i was 12!!
|| I could feel a tingling sensation at the tip of my fingers. Gally really knows how to piss me off. He kept talking. My face heated up. I couldn't cointain my anger anymore. I closed by eyes and anger took over.
I thrusted out my palm, firery black sparks shot out. It hit Gally like a truck. He fell down clutching his abdomen and screeching in agony.
When I heard him screech, I open my eyes and my hand flew to my mouth. I stumbled backwards only to find myself in a pair of strong arms.
"D-did I do that?" Gladers all around us nodded their heads. ||

Peyton wakes up in a metal escalating box to find out she is the only girl in the glade.
Confused and scared, she can only wish to get out of the glade. But there's two problems. One, a adorable blond haired boy goes againts her will to escape, and two, she has powers.

My arm lowered from my eyes so that my vision could adjust to my surroundings. There were about fifty boys, all boys, looking down at me and Thomas in this room in the ground like we were some new animals at the zoo. They were all teenagers and young adults; some tall, some short, some white, some black. Then one of them jumped down and walked over to me holding out a hand to help me out of the Box. "Hey, you're alright." The boy said to me in a comforting tone with a British accent as he finished pulling me out and up to my feet. "Thank you."
