Melaina Itzal Nyx is an orphan. She is despised, shattered, broken beyond repair; she runs from her past, because the darkness has engulfed her so much that she's convinced herself that nothing will ever shine strongly enough to brighten her path.
She has hope when she finds out that she's a witch, and shall attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but those are demolished when she encounters the self-proclaimed Marauders, whom she swears are bent on making her crappy life even worse than the Hell that it is already.
The only things she brings along with her is her guitar, and her uncanny ability to write songs with lyrics that express how she feels when simply talking cannot communicate well enough. It's her against the world, in a war she believes she's entitled to be struck down and defeated---time after time, again and again, until she can't handle life anymore.

Remus Lupin has secrets. Facts that he keeps all to himself, for he's fearful---paranoid---of them escaping into the wizarding world.
He's a Werewolf, and they have to have a grand reason for them to not become the outcasts, the ones everybody either ignores or pities.
One day, he meets a girl just as battered and bruised as he is. His friends start bullying her, for no reason that was apparent to him. She is already buried in the grave she herself dug, and, though it seems an impossible feat, he is almost completely certain that she tries to shove herself in deeper, to sink into the state of everlasting depression until the gift of death whisks her away from the world.
He was not going to let that happen to her.

In this world, one may believe they have nobody left. There's a little voice in their head, feeding them with LIES. That's the reason this story is here---to give them truth, love; to share and spread hope, and give purpose to those without one.
