Windows are made to keep everything in, right? They're made to stop things that you don't want from coming in, and to stop you from jumping out. Well, Kyle Thomson jumps out of windows for a girl, the girl. Eleanor Lilliman. She isn't a lousy crush to him- he loves her and she doesn't know it. But she could never love him back anyway, she made him keep a promise to her that he could never love her for reasons too difficult to explain. But if he ever did love her, there'd be no friendship. There'd be no more jumping out of windows- there'd be two strangers walking by without as little as a glance. And so, Kyle watches Eleanor fall in and out of love with guys who only love her in all the ways that he wouldn't. He is her shoulder to cry on and he doesn't mind it, he only minds that she doesn't realise that shes crying on a person that could keep the tears away. But one night, Kyle jumps out another window that has the potential to ruin his friendship and Eleanor Lilliman forever. Does it?

From childhood, Lil's life has been a nightmare. Her mother tried drowning her in the bath as a baby. As a result, she deals with depression and anxiety. When her boyfriend breaks up with her, she decides to get behind the wheel and is tempted to text him one last thing. Imagine her horror when she smashes into another car, the driver someone very close to her. Will she end up like her mom in prison? Will she let despair and guilt drag her back into darkness or will she find hope for a future, as hard as it may be? This is a book I wrote a few years ago before I found Wattpad. I never got a lot of feedback on it, so I appreciate you even taking a look and giving a few comments. You guys are rockstars. Thanks for reading!
