Windows are made to keep everything in, right? They're made to stop things that you don't want from coming in, and to stop you from jumping out.
Well, Kyle Thomson jumps out of windows for a girl, the girl. Eleanor Lilliman. She isn't a lousy crush to him- he loves her and she doesn't know it. But she could never love him back anyway, she made him keep a promise to her that he could never love her for reasons too difficult to explain. But if he ever did love her, there'd be no friendship. There'd be no more jumping out of windows- there'd be two strangers walking by without as little as a glance.
